1.0 OBJECTIVE: To lay down a Procedure for Making Entries in Equipment Usage Log Book.

2.0 SCOPE: This Procedure for Making Entries in Equipment Usage Log Book in the production department.

3.0 RESPONSIBILITY:
Officer, Executive – Production Department
Manager – Production Department

4.0 PROCEDURE:
4.1 Record the usage, cleaning, and preventive maintenance activity of idle time in the equipment log sheet given as annexure-I.
4.2 Record the time According to 24 Hrs. Format.
4.3 Record the time when the equipment is engaged in the process.
4.4 In case the equipment is not used on a particular day, then record the date & mention it as “No Activity” under the activity column.
4.5 Record the cleaning of the machine (time & date) after maintenance and preventive maintenance job.
4.6 Record specifying cleaning as type ‘A’ or type ‘B’.
4.7 Ensure that writing shall be clear, visiable, and readable while entering the log sheet.
4.8 Ensure that all entries made in the log sheet are legible.
