1.0 Objective: To lay down a procedure for the Cleaning and Operation of conveyor belt and turn table.

2.0 Scope: This procedure is applicable to the Cleaning and Operation of conveyor belt and turn table in Liquid department.

4.0 Procedure
4.1 Cleaning
4.1.1 Cleaning of conveyer belt
4.1.1.1 Start the conveyor belt at a slow speed
4.1.1.2 Clean the conveyor belt with a wet cloth or if required with liquid soap solution followed by wet and then with a dry lint-free cloth
4.1.1.3 Clean all the rollers of the conveyor belt with a wet cloth followed by a dry lint-free cloth from the inner side
4.1.2 Cleaning of turn table
4.1.2.1 Start the turn table
4.1.2.2 Clean the turn table top with a wet cloth to remove any sticky material.
4.1.2.3 Clean the sides of the turn table with a wet lint-free cloth.
4.1.2.4 Dry the complete turn table and VFD with a Clean dry lint-free cloth
4.2 Operation
4.2.1 Operation of conveyor belt
4.2.1.1 Ensure that the turn table is cleaned
4.2.1.2 After line clearance from QA, put the ‘UNDER PROCESS’ label on the conveyer belt
4.2.1.3 Switch ‘ON’ the main from the electric panel and start the conveyor belt by pressing the green push button provided on the bottom side of the SS conveyer belt
4.2.1.4 Enter the operation activity in the equipment usage log sheet
4.2.1.5 Collect the bottles coming from the labeling machine over the conveyer belt
4.2.1.6 Packed the bottles as per the instruction in BPR
4.2.1.7 Switch ‘OFF’ the main from the electric panel after completion of work
4.2.1.8 Affix the ‘TO BE CLEANED’ label on the conveyor belt after completion of the batch as per reference SOP “Status Labeling“.
4.2.2 Operation of turn table
4.2.2.1 Ensure that the turn table is cleaned
4.2.2.2 Switch ‘ON’ the turn table by pressing the green push button provided on the bottom side of the turn table
4.2.2.3 Check the indicator light on the attached VFD
4.2.2.4 Allow the washed bottles coming from the washing machine to turn the table
4.2.2.5 Regulate the speed of the turn table by VFD
4.2.2.6 Switch ‘OFF’ after completion of work
