1.0 OBJECTIVE: To lay down a procedure for the destruction of rubber stereos.
2.0 SCOPE: This procedure is applicable to the destruction of rubber stereos in the Production department.
3.0 RESPONSIBILITY:
Officer, Executive – Production Department, Quality assurance Department
Manager – Production Department
4.0 PROCEDURE :
4.1 Collect the used stereos after completion of packing. Verify that the quantity is the same as the quantity issued from the stereo logbook.
4.2 Collect the issued and retained stereos and verify the quantity of both with the received quantity. Destroy them by cutting them into small pieces and the same verify along with the IPQA person.
4.3 Record the destruction details in the stereo register and in the respective BPR.
4.4 If there is any change in the production plan or the production is canceled/postponed for one month then stereos are to be stored in a stereo cupboard with a proper storage label in the key locker.
